Last month, our theme was “archeology,” and we certainly enjoyed “digging up things from the past.” Here is a brief synopsis of our meeting.

Our Toastmaster was Larry Bishop, and he gave us quite a clever opening, starting from Columbus, then discussing the merits of “Indigenous Cultures Day”, and connecting us to have gratitude for the science of archeology, with a few sips of wine along the way.

Our Speaking Tip came from Marie Azzaria who reminded us simply, TO HAVE FUN!  Not only fun in the meeting, but also fun preparing and delivering our presentations.
Ximeng Chen, our guest from Germany, used Speech #5 (body language and gestures) to reclaim her adventures in California, by giving us a fantastic and expressive recap of her time in Hollywood with friends.
